Salma finds a lantern that will not shine. A stuck cart and a friend’s drawing teach her to pause before deciding what someone else needs.
Four illustrated scenes carry the complete story, with English and Modern Standard Arabic together on every story page. Read in one language, switch between them or invite the child to tell you what they notice in the pictures.
A reading guide introduces five word pairs. Three story-specific questions invite the child to return to the text for evidence, while the practical activity brings the theme into a small shared conversation or observation task. Adult answer notes support discussion without requiring a memorised response.
The nine-page A4 PDF includes the cover, guide, four story scenes, question page, activity page and answer notes. A separate TXT file gives the story text for reading aloud. There is no audio recording. The suggested age range is editorial guidance; adapt to the child’s reading level. Illustrations were created with generative image tools and selected for this edition.
